NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Collin County Commissioners Court will meet in REGULAR SESSION. Following is the agenda for said meeting:

Call to order. The court will convene in open session for consideration of the following business matters:

Invocation – Commissioner Fletcher Pledge of Allegiance – Commissioner Williams Pledge of Allegiance to the Texas Flag – Judge Hill

1. Consent Agenda Items:

a. Disbursements for the period ending March 12, 2024, Auditor.

b. Indigent Defense Disbursements, Auditor.

1. Security Gate Repair Services (IFB No. 2024-225), Facilities.

e. Award(s):

1. Professional Services, Forensic Engineering Services (RFQ No. 2024-054), Construction & Projects.

2. GovQA FOIA System (Coop. Quote No. 2024-254) to Carahsoft Technology Corp. through DIR Contract No. DIR-TSO-4288, Information Technology.

3. Vehicles, Sheriff's Office (Coop Quote No. 2024-253) to Silsbee Ford, Inc., through TIPS 210907, Public Works.

f. Contract Renewal(s):

1. Forensic Testing of Physical Evidence (Contract No. 2020-151) with Armstrong Forensic Laboratory, Inc. through and including June 29, 2024, District Attorney.

2. Services, Controls Integrator (Contract No. 2019-096) with Miller Building Automation, LLC to extend the contract for one (1) year through and including June 16, 2025, Facilities.

3. Emergency Vehicle Equipment and Supplies (Contract No. 2024-069) with GT Distributors, Inc. to extend the contract for one (1) year through and including March 31, 2025, Public Works.

g. Budget adjustment(s)/amendment(s):

1. $32,000 to reallocate District Clerk Records Management and Preservation funds from fund 1044 to the newly created fund 1045, Auditor.

h. Miscellaneous:

1. Correction to the date for the Texas High School Cycling League bicycle race and partial road closure of County Roads 132, 134, 135, 138, 176, 177, 178 and 179 previously approved on court order 2024-237-02-26 to change the date from April 8, 2024 to April 28, 2024, Public Works.

2. Revised Purchasing Card Policy and Procedure Manual, Purchasing.

3. Accept additional funding in the amount of $7,500 for the Internet Crimes Against Children Grant, Sheriff.

4. Personnel Appointments, Human Resources.

5. Personnel Changes, Human Resources.

2. General Discussion Items:

Presentation, discussion and any action regarding:

a. Primary Election Update, Elections.

3. Executive Session Items:

Executive Session, in accordance with Chapter 551 of the Government Code.

Any action resulting from the executive session.

The Commissioners Court reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed in this agenda, in the order deemed appropriate, as authorized by Chapter 551, Open Meetings, Texas Government Code, Sections 551.071, 551.072, 551.073, 551.074, 551.0745, 551.075 and 551.076, or to seek the advice of its attorney and/or other attorneys representing Collin County on any matter in which the duty of the attorney to the Commissioners Court under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code or as otherwise may be permitted under chapter 551.

Public Comments not related to an item on the Agenda. If a member of the public would like to address the Court, a properly completed Public Comment Form must be submitted prior to the start of the meeting. Each speaker shall be limited to a maximum of three (3) minutes for public comments.
