NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Collin County Commissioners Court will meet in REGULAR SESSION. Following is the agenda for said meeting:

COMMISSIONERS COURT MEETING

1. Call to order. The court will convene in open session for consideration of the following business matters:

a. Disbursements for the period ending March 14, 2017, Auditor.

1. Paxton Disbursements.

b. Indigent Defense Disbursements, Auditor.

c. Award(s):

1. Base Bid and Alternative A for Collin County Courthouse Parking Lot Gate Replacement (IFB No. 2017-087) to Construction Rent-A-Fence, Inc. and further authorize the Purchasing Agent to finalize and execute the Construction Agreement, Construction & Projects.

2. Supplies: Plumbing (IFB No. 2016-113) to Johnson-Burks Supply Co, Inc., Facilities.

d. Agreement(s):

1. Interlocal Agreement with the City of Lucas for the acquisition of real property needed to realign and improve sections of existing FM 1378 and FM 3286 (approximately 2.194 acres) at or adjacent to their intersection (Bond Project No. 07-00-52), Engineering.

e. Ratification of the County Judge's prior approval:

1. County overtime for the pay period ended March 12, 2017, Human Resources.

f. Filing of the Minute(s), County Clerk:

1. February 27, 2017.

g. Miscellaneous

1. FY2017 tax exemptions for historical structures and/or landmarks, Collin County Historical Commission.

2. Raising the height of the perimeter fence at Juvenile Detention and budget amendment in the amount of $51,000 for same, Construction & Projects.

3. Appointment of reserve investigators per Texas Government Code Section 41.102 Employment of Assistants and Personnel, District Attorney.

4. Acceptance of the donation of two (2) AR15 multi-gun racks from a private citizen to be used in the Quartermaster area for additional storage, Sheriff.

5. Personnel Appointments, Human Resources.

6. Personnel Changes, Human Resources.

GENERAL DISCUSSION

Presentation, discussion and any action regarding:

5. 85th Legislative Agenda for 2017, Commissioners Court.

a. HB 1926 Regulation of food production and sales operations by a home food processor; requiring an occupational permit; authorizing a fee and an administrative penalty.

b. SB 14 Ethics of public officers and related requirements; creating criminal offenses.

c. SB 292 Creation of a grant program to reduce recidivism, arrest, and incarceration of individuals with mental illness.

6. Possible future agenda items by Commissioners Court without discussion.

EXECUTIVE SESSION (upon recess of GENERAL DISCUSSION)

Executive Session, in accordance with Chapter 551 of the Government Code, to discuss the following subjects:

Legal (551.071)

Collin County Felony Indigent Defense Plan and Texas Local Government Code Sec. 74.093, Commissioners Court.

Any action resulting from the executive session.

The court reserves the right to convene into executive session throughout this meeting.
