NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Collin County Commissioners Court will meet in REGULAR SESSION. Following is the agenda for said meeting:

COMMISSIONERS COURT MEETING

a. Disbursements for the period ending August 2, 2016, Auditor.

b. Tax refunds totaling $268,358.53, Tax Assessor/Collector.

c. Advertisement(s):

1. Replacement of Vehicle Lifts at Service Center (IFB No. 2016-119) and budget amendment in the amount of $199,199 for same, Construction & Projects.

2. Professional Services, Real Estate Broker Services (RFP No. 2016-289), Construction & Projects.

d. Award(s):

1. Services, Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) to Participate in ERCOT Program (RFP No. 2016-163), Facilities.

e. Amendment(s):

1. No. 15 to the Lease Agreement with Collin County Homeland Security for property located at the Collin County Courthouse, 2100 Bloomdale Road, McKinney, Texas 75071 to increase the square footage to 2,024 square feet and extend the lease for one (1) year through and including August 31, 2017, Construction & Projects.

2. No. 3 to the Interlocal Agreement for Collin County to provide EMS services through American Medical Response (AMR) to extend the contract for one (1) year through and including October 31, 2017 and further authorize the Purchasing Agent to finalize and execute same, Fire Marshal:

a. City of Anna for an annual amount of $143,172.70.

b. City of Blue Ridge for an annual amount of $12,031.79.

c. City of Farmersville for an annual amount of $41,138.70.

d. City of Josephine for an annual amount of $15,449.59.

e. City of Lowry Crossing for an annual amount of $24,063.57.

f. City of Melissa for an annual amount of $100,436.24.

g. City of Nevada for an annual amount of $13,323.88.

h. City of Princeton for an annual amount of $104,965.52.

i. City of Weston for an annual amount of $4,306.99.

f. Change Order(s):

1. No. 1 to Services: Armored Car (IFB No. 2015-212) with Dunbar Armored, Inc. to accept a 1% price increase, extend the contract for one (1) year through and including September 30, 2017 and further authorize the Purchasing Agent to finalize and execute same, Auditor.

g. Contract Renewal(s):

1. Services: Onsite Grinding, Mulching and Removal of Debris (IFB No. 2016-100) with TFR Enterprises, Inc. to extend the contract for one (1) year through and including September 30, 2017, Public Works.

h. Ratification of the County Judge's prior approval:

1. Discretionary exemption to the bid process for repair of unforeseen damage to public property per VTCA Local Government Code 262.024(a)(3), Construction & Projects.

2. Grant an exemption to the bid process for the purchase of FN15 Rifles for the Sheriff’s office per VTCA LGC 262.024(A)(2) "an item necessary to protect the public health or safety of the residents of the county" and budget amendment in the amount of $66,000 for same, Purchasing.

1. Monthly Financial Reports for June 2016.

3. Reimbursement of fencing materials in the amount of 3,731.96 to Mr. and Mrs. Tony Gray for property along CR 565, Public Works.

4. Acceptance of the Dining Alliance rebate check in the amount of $272.04 to be deposited in the Going the Extra Mile Employee Incentive Program line item and budget amendment for same, Purchasing.

EXECUTIVE SESSION (upon recess of GENERAL DISCUSSION)

Counter offer for the purchase of The Cambridge Companies, Inc. Parcel required for the future Collin County Outer Loop ROW between the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) and the Collin/Denton County Line, Special Projects.

Economic Development Negotiations (551.087)

Proposed offer for Project Trust looking to relocate into Collin County, Budget.

Proposed offer for Project Red River looking to relocate to McKinney, TX, Budget.

Proposed offer for Project Sticky II looking to expand current business in McKinney, TX, Budget.

Any action resulting from the executive session.

The court reserves the right to convene into executive session throughout this meeting.
